Polaris Aero Integrates Pulsar Informatics Aviation Fatigue Meter™ Technology into FlightRisk™
Today the aviation safety software company Polaris Aero announced that it has integrated Pulsar Informatics, Inc.'s Fatigue Meter™ technology into Polaris Aero's automated risk assessment system, FlightRisk™.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today the aviation safety software company Polaris Aero announced that it has integrated Pulsar Informatics, Inc.'s Fatigue Meter™ technology into Polaris Aero's automated risk assessment system, FlightRisk™.
"Landing on a beautiful day, with a long runway in a familiar airport, with elevated fatigue means one thing. Landing at night, in weather, on a short runway, in an unfamiliar airport, with elevated fatigue means another," explained Pulsar Informatics' CEO Daniel Mollicone, Ph.D. "By gaining insight into the total risk perspective of the aircrew, the operation has an overall better ability to fly as safe as possible. We're thrilled to have the Fatigue Meter technology to quantify fatigue risk as part of Polaris Aero's FlightRisk solution."
About FlightRisk & Fatigue
FlightRisk helps dispatchers and flight crews identify the hazards – human, environmental, aircraft, and airport – that are most relevant to a flight. By incorporating Pulsar's Fatigue Meter technology, FlightRisk users are able to see how fatigue, combined with other risk factors, can affect a flight. This unique perspective allows both managers and front-line personnel to make well-informed decisions.
Today's aviation operators face many challenges when it comes to implementing Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS), especially during the preflight planning process. FlightRisk simplifies the process by automatically pulling in key pieces of information from Pulsar Informatics and displaying the results in a user-friendly way.
"Over the past few years, we've been waiting for the right time to introduce Pulsar's Fatigue Meter technology into our FlightRisk solution," said Chris Connor, CEO of Polaris Aero. "Now with our customers expressing more interest, it's the right time. This integration represents a significant advancement in addressing fatigue risks in aviation."
