Prescott College will honor James (Jim) Stuckey--who served as president of the College from 1972-1983--with a building named after him on campus. The Crossroads Center, which currently serves as a hub for classes, student activities, dining and community engagement, will now become the James Stuckey Center. Stuckey was known for his leadership of Prescott College in the wake of bankruptcy. He brought new life to the college, and is known by many alumni as a leader who changed their lives.
PRESCOTT, Ariz., Oct. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- James (Jim) Stuckey, who served as president of Prescott College from 1972-1983 will be honored with a building named after him on campus. The Crossroads Center, which currently serves as a hub for classes, student activities, dining and community engagement, will now become the James Stuckey Center. Stuckey was known for his leadership of Prescott College in the wake of bankruptcy. He brought new life to the college, and is known by many alumni as a leader who changed their lives.

The naming ceremony will take place on the Prescott College campus, 220 Grove Avenue, Prescott, at 4:00 PM on November 3. All are invited to share stories of their time at Prescott and talk about the impact that Jim and others made throughout the history of our college.
