PROSHRED® San Diego Hosts Annual "Shred Cancer" Event for Cancer Prevention Research
The company will be working with AICR to raise funds for cancer research during this annual event. Attendees can bring paper, file folders, hanging files, notepads, and envelopes to be shredded.
SAN DIEGO, May 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PROSHRED® San Diego will be celebrating their annual "Shred Cancer" event on Saturday June 1, 2019 from 10AM to 2PM in partnership with The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR). Community members are invited to bring paper, file folders, hanging files, notepads, and envelopes to be securely shredded while raising funds for cancer research. The event will be held at PROSHRED® San Diego's office location- 7377 Convoy Court, Suite C San Diego, CA 92111.
Individuals may bring boxes of their documents or multimedia to one of PROSHRED® San Diego's on-site shredding trucks to safely and securely dispose of unwanted personal information. The event is free to attend and a suggested donation of $5 per box will go directly towards funding AICR's cancer research and education programs.

Started in 2014 on National Cancer Survivors' Day, the PROSHRED® corporation has contributed over $176, 904.35 to cancer research. This year AICR and PROSHRED® San Diego have set a goal to raise $50,000 for research.
