LOS ANGELES, August 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A day doesn't go by without us being warned about the dangers of obesity which according to health organisations has reached epidemic proportions. The problem is the warnings have become so common that not only have we become anesthetised to them but much of the time we are not even aware of what food does contain sugar.
As a self-confessed sugarholic, singer songwriter Nemo James has recently released the amusing and light-hearted video "Sugar" which by using puppets hopes to keep the viewer interested long enough to get the message across.
Julio Foppoli from the company "Puppets on Fire" said, "we were very excited to be approached by a great songwriter like Nemo James to produce a music video which was not only very funny but puts across such a worthwhile message"
The adorable puppet Fenix is a terrible cook but makes the discovery that by adding sugar to everything it tastes better. Before he knows it, he has turned his friends into sugar junkies with disastrous results.
Mike Nelson, a teacher from Manchester said, "when I discuss the subject of health in my class I can see eyes glazing over and know I am fighting a losing battle but when I showed this video it had their full attention. After being forced to play it three times the class actually wanted to discuss it. Whether they cut down on their sugar intake remains to be seen but at least now they are more aware of the danger.
