Regency Palms Long Beach Celebrates Family Day with the World-Famous Laker Girls
Meridian Senior Living's Regency Palms Long Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care (RPLB) proudly hosted Laker Girls, the all-female National Basketball Association Cheerleading Squad for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, at the community's first Family Day celebration.
LONG BEACH, Calif., May 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Meridian Senior Living's Regency Palms Long Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care (RPLB) proudly hosted Laker Girls, the all-female National Basketball Association Cheerleading Squad for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, at the community's first Family Day celebration. As one of the series of May celebrations, the Family Day was held on Saturday, May 4th at RPLB located at 117 E. 8th Street, Long Beach, CA 90813. Family Day provides a great opportunity to foster strengthening relationships between residents and their families, which is vital to the well-being of seniors.
Causing a splash, the two visiting Laker Girls entertained RPLB residents, families, and staff. Embellished in sparkly, purple and gold uniforms, the two Laker Girls radiated glamorous smiles as they greeted everyone, even the fluffy community pet ambassador, Teddy. The Laker Girls graciously mingled in the crowd, while posing in photographs and signing autographs for the resident fan base. A fun time was had by all.
