Robinson & Cole Welcomes Eight New Lawyers
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Robinson & Cole is pleased to welcome eight new lawyers to the firm. The lawyers include seven associates spread across the firm’s Boston, Hartford, Stamford, and Sarasota offices, and Shant H. Chalian, a counsel in the New York office.

New York
Shant H. Chalian, counsel in the Business Transactions Practice Group in New York, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and other similar corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and spin-offs, with a particular emphasis on private equity funds and their sponsors. Mr. Chalian received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law; his J.D., magna cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law; and his B.A. from New York University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut.
Hartford
Susan N. Masters is an associate in the Hartford office and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her practice focuses on public and private sector labor and employment law. Her experience includes drafting immigration law legal briefs as well as education, employment, and labor law post-arbitration briefs, mediation memoranda, and client advisory letters. Ms. Masters earned her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, her M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College, and her B.A. from Stony Brook University – SUNY. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
James R. Nault, associate in the Business Litigation Practice Group in Hartford, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, including patent infringement, trademark infringement, breach of contract, trade secret licensing disputes, and land use litigation. Mr. Nault is also an active member of the Appellate Practice Group. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School; his M.A. from the Naval War College; his M.S. from the Naval Postgraduate School; and his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy. Mr. Nault is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
Lisa C. Riccio is an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group in Hartford. She has experience working on a variety of real estate transactions, such as mortgage loan originations, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, loan acquisitions, and servicing matters and drafting and negotiating hotel, entertainment, retail, and other real estate-related documents. Ms. Riccio earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Hartford. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
Stamford
Kristen M. Bandura joins the firm as an associate in the Business Transactions Practice Group in Stamford. Her practice involves all aspects of corporate and transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, commercial finance transactions, and general corporate matters. Ms. Bandura earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law; her M.S. from Manhattanville College; and her B.S. from the University of Richmond. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Julia H. Klein, associate in the Real Estate Practice Group and resident in the firm’s Stamford office, concentrates her practice in commercial real estate and commercial finance transactions. Ms. Klein has experience helping clients with a broad range of real estate transactions, including the acquisition and sale of commercial and residential properties, the leasing of commercial and industrial spaces, and the obtaining and providing of loans, letters of credit, and other types of financing secured by real estate, business assets, and guaranties. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a board member of the Journal of Corporate and Finance Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Columbia University in English. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
Boston
Misha K. Daha joins the firm as an associate in the Business Section in our Boston office. Prior to joining Robinson & Cole, Ms. Daha served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rolando T. Acosta of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department. She earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College in economics and international relations. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
Sarasota
Erica K. Williams joins the Sarasota office in the Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group. Ms. Williams focuses her practice primarily on the representation of commercial property insurers in complex coverage litigation. She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law and her B.S. from Florida A&M University in civil engineering. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.
