Savvy + Co. Real Estate Hires Jenny Hassid Johnson as Broker-in-Charge

CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 28, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Savvy + Co. Real Estate is proud to announce that Jenny Hassid Johnson has joined the brokerage as Broker-in-Charge. With a keen eye for design, an understanding of the Charlotte-area real estate, and a passion for educating and empowering others, Jenny is a perfect addition to the Savvy + Co. team.
A first-generation American, Jenny's grandfather, a successful architect from Cairo, immigrated to America. He attended college at Harvard University where he received his Ph.D. He then went on to start the Ph.D. department at The University of California, Berkeley.
Jenny was raised in Texas and attended the University of Houston, where she majored in psychology and architecture during her undergraduate studies. After graduation, she attended graduate school for architectural design. Jenny comes from a long line of successful architects.
When she came to Charlotte, she worked with firms such as Shook Kelley and Odell on projects ranging from large mixed-use developments to hospitals to the Jewish Community Center.
Although she loved her job, Jenny wasn't in love with the hours. A desire to be more present with her children inspired her to sign up for real estate classes. She received her license in 2014.
"I fell in love with residential real estate," said Jenny. "The best way to describe it is that you're doing life with others. You're helping people find a home and a sense of home. I loved using my architectural design background to help buyers see a different side of every home. I also loved sharing my unique insight with other agents and helping them to see a home in a new light."
It would be serendipitous moments that lead Jenny to the Broker-in-Charge position with Savvy + Co. From a neighbor mentioning the Broker-in-Charge position to finding a dream home that was the perfect shade of "Savvy blue" to a Savvy agent reaching out to her with a question, everything fell into place.
"I've always paid attention to Savvy. I love their branding, and they always seem to have something up their sleeve. When Dana (Burleson) called me, I asked her about the role, and she said that I would be a great fit. That day Lexie Longstreet, one of the owners of Savvy + Co. Real Estate, called me, and we discussed the role. That call, and all the events leading up to it, made deciding to join Savvy that much easier."
