Sellers Dorsey Adds Bob Lux, Former CFO of Temple University Health System, as Senior Strategic Advisor

Mr. Lux served most recently as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer of Temple University Health System, a $2 billion enterprise that employs more than 9,000 team members in pursuit of its academic, research, and clinical missions.
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sellers Dorsey announced today that Bob Lux has partnered with the firm as a Senior Strategic Advisor. Mr. Lux served most recently as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer of Temple University Health System, a $2 billion enterprise that employs more than 9,000 team members in pursuit of its academic, research, and clinical missions. He held this role for over 20 years, following several other positions after joining Temple Health in 1981.
For his decades of successful service, Mr. Lux received the Philadelphia Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association's Annual Achievement Award and the Philadelphia Business Journal's CFO of the Year Award for large not-for-profit businesses. He's also been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the nation's top Hospital and Health System CFOs for years 2013-2018.

In addition to his work with Temple Health, Mr. Lux has also served on several committees, including the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Advisory Committee, the CFO Advisory Committee, and the Committee on Public Payer Policy. He is a long-serving member, as well, of the Executive Board of the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts of America, currently serving as the Council President. Mr. Lux previously served as Treasurer of the Council and Chairman of its Finance Committee, and he remains very active with Boy Scout Troop 563 in the City of Philadelphia, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster and having mentored 34 scouts through their Eagle Scout rank.
Mr. Lux holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (maxima cum laude) from LaSalle University, and he is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, as well as a member of the American Institute and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
