As Seen On QVC, Snaptiles has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an updated version of their popular magnetic photo tiles. This version is a plastic-frame version that will provide many distinct advantages over the previous version.
IRVINE, Calif., March 30, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Snaptiles garnered a lot of media attention in creating the world's first magnetic photo tile. Now, they're taking their popular paperboard photo tiles to the next level by developing a plastic-framed version which has been granted a US patent. This plastic-framed version, launched on Kickstarter, will not only be the first photo tile of its kind but it will also be the first magnetic picture frame of its kind.
The plastic frames offer a number of distinct advantages.
First, the paperboard version is hand-assembled, so it's not easily scalable. Plastic frames are much easier to mass-produce.
Second, a plastic frame gives each photo tile a framed look and helps break up the collage created when multiple photo tiles are connected together.
Third, plastic is much more durable than paperboard. One of the advantages of Snaptiles is that you can easily rearrange them. With a plastic frame, you can do so knowing that the photo tiles provide long-lasting use.
These changes improve Snaptiles, but one thing remains the same - you still only have to mount and level the first tile. From there, it's as easy as snapping them together using the embedded magnets.
In fact, it's just a four-step process to create a Snaptiles display:
- Adhere the back plate to the wall (adhesive strips and a bubble level are included)
- Attach the mounting plate to the back of the anchor tile
- Place the anchor tile onto the back plate and slide it down to lock it in place
- Add additional tiles (up to 12 with one back plate or up to 30 when if you add supplied picture nails to the back plate)
It couldn't be easier to create a meaningful photo display, and with plastic-framed Snaptiles, your display is now more flexible and durable, too.
Their patented photo tiles have gotten glowing reviews from photographers and have been featured on QVC. These updated tiles follow in the same tradition of providing top-quality products at affordable prices that consumers appreciate.
A Kickstarter campaign to support their revolutionary photo tiles is live and ready for your support! The funds raised from Kickstarter will be used to pay for injection molds and for the first 5,000 plastic Snaptile "blanks." Funds will also be used for website and app updates.
About Snaptiles
Snaptiles began with a very simple question - Why has nobody created magnetic wall art? From there, the journey to create a magnetic photo tile began.
It took 14 months to develop their 8x8 magnetic photo tiles. The original photo tiles are hand-crafted from SBS acid-free paperboard with images printed using the same Xerox technology as high-quality photo books.
Each patented Snaptile is manufactured in their Irvine, California warehouse and is brought to you by the team at Artbeat Studios, Inc.
