DALLAS, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Center for Assisted Reproduction, CARE Fertility, today announces the introduction of a new mobile application developed by the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), that provides direct access to information and communications with member fertility centers. CARE Fertility co-founder, Kevin Doody, M.D., assisted with the app design and development, focusing on enhancing patient experience. SART Mobile can be found in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for Android.
"Our goal in developing the app is to educate and engage patients who are considering fertility treatments," says Dr. Doody. "When people are seeking options for becoming parents, they desire reliable information and better access to professionals who can advise them. It's often a confusing and stressful time, which is the reason the app was designed to be convenient and offer confidential data at the patients' fingertips."
The SART Mobile App offers a wide range of features to enhance patients' fertility journey, including predicting patients' chances of success and a pregnancy wheel that provides due dates and information about the baby's progress throughout the mother's term.
A primary objective of the app is to facilitate finding a fertility clinic and communications, such as a chat feature, scheduling appointments and accessing fertility treatment options from member clinics.
The SART Mobile App also provides news, such as curated articles and notifications about infertility from leading experts nationwide.
