CAMPBELL, Calif., Aug. 9, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hangzhou Starpro Starch Co., Ltd. As Starpro experiences rapid growth, its product R&D department is facing challenges due to increasing projects, categories, customers, factories and personnel. Commenting on the selection process, Ms. Wang Xiaofen, Head of Product Research Department at Starpro, says, "The Centric team took the initiative to communicate with us and conducted multiple on-site discussions and run-throughs. Centric's proactive spirit is definitely in line with our company culture."
Mr. Xu Guozhong, Information Head of PMI Group, says, "PLM plays an important part in the digital transformation of PMI Group. Starpro is the first company in the group to launch such a project. I hope that the project can be continually refined in order to improve our capabilities in internal process, efficiency and cost control, while providing valuable references and experiences for other companies in the group."
Starpro's PLM project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of a basic platform and connection of product data, while the second phase will establish overall closed-loop data flows and comprehensive team collaboration.
"The long-anticipated PLM project is an important milestone for Starpro to transform from informatization to digitization," concludes Mr. Zhang Kunfeng, General Manager of Starpro. "The project also involves a systematic review of our business processes, which will help each team to acquire a deeper understanding of Starpro's business. As the current leading player in the domestic starch industry, I hope that we can continue to improve our competitiveness with Centric PLM to become a global leader."
