LEHI, Utah, June 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- EduFresh, an online learning platform that provides educational resources and training for teachers and school staff to improve student behavior and develop a positive learning environment, has announced its licensing agreement with Summit Venture Studio (SVS), through the University of Utah's PIVOT Center.
The lack of effective behavior management strategies often leads to stress, burnout, and high teacher turnover. Student conduct also plays an important role in individual and peer academic performance. EduFresh provides solutions to these key issues in today's education. EduFresh's courses provide training, practical tools, and techniques that help 6-K teachers and school staff manage challenging behaviors so that students can improve their social and academic achievement. EduFresh's online platform is convenient, accessible, and allows educators to complete the courses at their own pace.
EduFresh's courses were developed by Dr. Aaron Fischer, Dr. Leanne Hawken, Rovi Hidalgo, and Dr. Vanessa Feola at the University of Utah, with the aim of empowering teachers and school staff with evidence-based content to improve behavior and develop a positive learning environment. Educational Psychologist Dr. Aaron Fischer, co-founder of Edufresh, commented: "Our team is excited to partner with SVS and reach more educators in their efforts to use research-based interventions in the classroom."
School districts implementing Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) principles will find EduFresh particularly suited to their goals. PBIS and RBT training are based on principles of positive reinforcement, preventative measures, practical tools, and school-wide support for both teachers and students. EduFresh is designed to give the teacher increased understanding and awareness of their student's needs and help them implement practices to guide the student to improved behavior.
Parker Smith, President at EduFresh said, "EduFresh's behavior training is transformative, and we believe that through this partnership we will be able to help more teachers and school staff provide a positive and inclusive learning environment for their students."
"At SVS we are committed to innovation and excellence in education. We believe in supporting companies that are working to make a positive impact, and EduFresh is a great example of that. We look forward to seeing the impact that EduFresh will have on the education community," said Taylor Bench, Managing Director at Summit Venture Studio.
