US Sports Camps Releases Summer 2017 Dates for Arizona Swim Competitive Swim Camps
(PRWEB) November 17, 2016 -- The Arizona Swim Camp provides one of the best swim camps for competitive swimmers in the country and has attracted swimmers throughout the Southwest region and beyond. The combination of personalized filming, extensive pool sessions, and highly experienced Division I coaches makes the 2017 Arizona Swim Camp an incredible opportunity for campers to train in Tucson at one of the nation's top swim facilities, Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, the home of the Arizona Wildcats.
"Registration for the annual Arizona Competitive Swim Camps is now open," camp director and assistant coach of the Wildcats' men's and women's swimming and diving programs Brandy Maben announced on Tuesday.
This year, Arizona is offering two sessions of overnight and extended day camp (9:00am-9:00pm) for ages 10-18. The first camp will take place June 4-8 with the second camp being offered June 11-15.
New for 2017, Arizona Swim is excited to provide campers access to their weight room staff. Coach Maben states, "Our weight room staff works hand and hand with the USA Olympic Weight Coach in the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, to make sure our work on land fits what the swimmers need in the water!" She goes on to say, "This is not to lift weights and bulk up, it’s to teach specific exercises and drills on land that the athletes can take back to their club coaches in order to incorporate into their daily dryland!"
Campers now have the option to add the Extra Night Arizona Swimming Dynamic Weight & Dryland Traning Clinic to make your camp experience a 5 night, 6 day camp.
