KIRKLAND, Wash., July 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TalentDesk, a job board offering extensive resources for jobseekers, has just announced a major addition to their online materials: the 2019 Best Companies to Work For rankings. The rankings cover thousands of job titles and locations. Multiple sources of quality were taken into consideration when determining proprietary company scores, including Glassdoor and the Better Business Bureau.
Company scores reflect high levels of employee satisfaction in the workplace, including factors such as work-life balance and compensation. Only companies that have recently posted relevant jobs and have achieved a score of at least 50 out of 100 were considered for TalentDesk's Best Company rankings. Out of over 22,000 companies, about 8,000 made the cut.
TalentDesk features the best companies by industry, by location, and by a combination of the two. In total, there are over 800 job categories to choose from. Rankings are segmented by company size, an important factor for jobseekers, when possible. Small companies are defined as having 200 or fewer employees, and large companies are defined as having more than 200 employees. Individual company employee data was collected from FullContact, a cloud-based address book.
TalentDesk offers a number of additional free resources including Career Finder, a tool that connects jobseekers with prospective positions based on their educational backgrounds. Other resources include articles that evaluate the best positions for different personality types, and interviews with industry experts from sales, marketing, education and trucking backgrounds.
