Tech Company Invonto Suspends In-person Virtual Reality Roadshow Events Until May 2021
NJ-based technology consulting company Invonto recently announced that because of the ongoing pandemic, it will not resume in-person Virtual Reality Roadshow events until May 2021. Invonto has conducted several in-person demonstrations since kicking off its roadshow events in 2019. While it's in-person VR events remain canceled, the company will continue to offer virtual demonstrations to interested businesses across the USA.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Nov. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Invonto, a leader in virtual reality app development, hosts Virtual Reality Roadshow events at venues across New York and New Jersey. In 2019, Invonto committed to raising awareness about the numerous benefits virtual reality presents for businesses and consumers.
The technology consulting company kicked off its new initiative in several on-premise and off-premise locations, including local community events. Invonto's VR Roadshow events allow participants to gain first-hand experience in virtual reality technology using Oculus Quest virtual reality headset from Facebook. Participants experienced several virtual reality experiences produced by Invonto's VR app developers.
Following the recent spike in coronavirus cases and more restrictions set by NJ Governor Murphy, Invonto has decided to postpone hosting any public events indefinitely. Rather than hosting in-person events, Invonto will offer virtual demonstrations for businesses interested in learning more about the benefits of VR for their business.
"Our VR Roadshow events have been highly engaging, interactive, and informative for our team as well as participants. There have been a lot of exchanges of ideas and how VR can be a useful technology for addressing many of the complex business use cases. VR has gained popularity over the past few months since businesses are exploring new ways to improve team collaboration while working remotely. We can not organize any in-person VR events at this time but, we will continue to educate our audiences through our virtual events." said Maulik Shah, CEO of Invonto.
Through its VR Roadshow events and audience participation, Invonto has gathered insights into virtual reality trends. All participants agreed that they found VR applicable for many business use cases across travel & hospitality, healthcare, pharmaceutical, real estate, and education industries.
With its virtual demonstrations, Invonto plans to showcase the various capabilities of the technology, including training simulations, plan visualization, 360 walkthroughs, 3D modeling, geolocation apps, live-action applications, work collaboration solutions, and gaming applications.
