After creating and broadcasting more than 800 hours of live and pre-recorded events in its Alpharetta studios, ATL North has created a seamless workflow within Unreal Engine, bringing affordable virtual set design and production for TV, Film, and Enterprise applications.
ALPHARETTA, Ga., July 27, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Atlanta North Studios is expanding to Downtown Atlanta with three and potentially four state-of-the-art virtual Unreal Engine studios that will accommodate multiple large green screens and LED productions concurrently. With easy access to the airport for current TV productions, Film applications, and Enterprise clients seeking to reduce cost and speed up production cycles using Epic's Unreal Engine.

However, many in the industry and clients were skeptical that full TV quality could be accomplished, especially with dozens of remote feeds from Zoom, Teams, and other platforms combined with live in-studio virtual productions." The Streaming world has already exploited the use of Unreal Engine for movies and television shows using LED volumes. Still, green and blue screen multi-camera production works better and at a lower cost for many productions.
ATL North is expanding to Downtown Atlanta for many reasons. First, it is to provide scalable virtual technologies right to the heart of the metro area, making it convenient for more clients. Second, ATL North has just outgrown the original stages, which never contemplated the larger productions capable of using the Unreal Engine technology. ATL North is evaluating several locations and will announce a decision soon.
