Just recently, The Hanna Group hosted a free Fall Festival for families in the San Jose community. The free event was open to all and had an attendance of over 500 local residents. The event was held at Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch and featured face painting, a pumpkin decorating contest, raffles, prizes and more. Children eagerly came dressed in their best Halloween costume in hopes to win the iPad grand prize costume contest and all attendees were eligible to win an Apple Watch simply for attending.
"It's a joy to connect with our community in this way. And we don't want to stop here. We will also be donating much-needed items throughout the holiday season to local charity organizations," said associate broker Zaid Hanna. "Families in need provide a wish list, not only for Christmas gifts, but simply necessities for living. We are humbled and honored to be able to help where the need is most."
In September, The Hanna Group sponsored the SEVA Tree of Life Gala. The goal of the non-profit is to feed the hungry and serve the homeless. "Seva Community is an official certifying organization for the U.S. President's Volunteer Services Awards Program," noted Hanna. "The purpose of the event is to raise money for SEVA to be able to open their new kitchen to feed the local homeless to be able to reach even more people."
In addition to helping local community organizations, Realtors at The Hanna Group, which recently hosted a client appreciation picnic for over 500 of their clients at the historic Coyote Ranch in San Jose, have decided to take their giving to an even higher level by pledging to donate a portion of each sale's commission to a charity of the client's choice. "We are not just here to sell real estate," concluded Hanna, "we are here to give back, uplift and support our community as much as possible."
