LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Summer may be over, but The Hollywood Roosevelt continues to celebrate the spirt of the season by introducing all-new lunch and dinner menus at Tropicana Café. Beginning October 14th, guests can dine al fresco while sitting under palm trees beside a priceless piece of artwork, the recently restored David Hockney-painted Tropicana Pool. The uniquely crafted menu, inspired by the South Pacific and created by Executive Chef David Tieg, boasts signature dishes including Hawaiian Style Ahi Poke and Vegan Potstickers; along with Tamarind Glazed Pork Ribs and Sugar Cane Prawns.
The expanded menus encourage locals and guests to celebrate the best of Los Angeles, in a setting that is a true oasis in the heart Hollywood. After lingering over fresh entrees and enjoying hand crafted cocktails, an irresistible dessert menu by Executive Pastry Chef Orlando Maldonado beckons, featuring delectable treats such as baked South Seas, Maldonado's take on a traditional baked Alaska with tropical flavors, or a gourmet Key Lime Pie.
Tropicana Café serves breakfast from 8:00am – 12:00pm, lunch from 12:00pm – 5:00pm and dinner from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, daily. Group and family style options are also available. Reservations are available online here.
In celebration of Public Kitchen & Bar's successful residency at The Hollywood Roosevelt, the iconic hotel welcomes its guests to celebrate the restaurant's final service days with complimentary prosecco and bar bites from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, through September 28th. Public Kitchen & Bar will then close while the space is transformed into an exciting new chef-driven venue in partnership with the acclaimed Nancy Silverton. The Barish, Silverton's Italian steakhouse named after her ancestors, who were cattle ranchers in Saskatchewan, Canada during the early 20th century, is set to open in early 2020.
