The iaedp™ Foundation annually honors the healthcare and medical professionals who care for those suffering with eating disorders and related conditions. These professionals are both nominated by their peers and selected by the iaedp™ Board of Directors. Awards are announced during the group's annual Symposium. PEKIN, Ill., Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The iaedp™ Foundation annually honors the healthcare and medical professionals who care for those suffering with eating disorders and related conditions. These professionals are both nominated by their peers and selected by the iaedp™ Board of Directors. Awards are announced during the group's annual Symposium. There are recognition opportunities for both members and non-members.
The Spirit of iaedp™ Award is given to a member of iaedp™ in good standing who has a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of eating disorders. The iaedp™ Member of the Year Award honors a member with six or more years of experience in the field who demonstrates noteworthy service to iaedp™ and consistently exceeds expectations for the iaedp™ conference, chapters, program development and goodwill ambassadorship.
The iaedp™ Foundation also presents Special Service Recognition and Lifetime Achievement Awards at its discretion.

The 2019 iaedp™ Symposium will be held February 7 - 10 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert, California.
