New streaming app connects and serves global community through uplifting content, good news from around the world, insightful stories, messages of hope, and solid journalism
PHOENIX, Sept. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Mangat Group announced today the launch of a new app called the Satluj Network. The app features uplifting content from a variety of topics to connect the global community with shared good news. The network covers all positive happenings in politics, law, science, business, local, and sports with a specified tab for easy access.
"Our goal is to celebrate shared experiences, spotlight common ground, and open people to new perspectives," says Tony Mangat, co-founder of the Satluj Network. "We want to help build people up and give to the next generation, leaving the world a little better each day. Our only agenda is to make people feel better."
The app is also home to the limited TV series "And They Occupied Me" directed and written by Surinder Singh and produced by The Mangat Group. The series premiered at the Royal Cocoa International Film Festivals in Lagos, Nigeria on April 10, 2022 and received support from the UNESCO Center for Peace. The award-winning, nine-episode series features never-before told first-hand accounts of the 1984 Sikh massacre and promotes human dignity and human rights in developing nations.
"The Satluj Network is the perfect space for content like 'And They Occupied Me,'" said Satluj Network co-founder Surinder Singh. "The network is a space that promotes world peace, justice, and inclusion. It is our desire to continue to bring in other new and original content that aligns with our mission. We're creating a new narrative to discuss different beliefs and make our own decisions."
By the end of 2022, Mangat and Singh plan to have a fully operational news studio in Glendale, Arizona streaming news twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. They are currently searching for reporters and figureheads across the world to join the virtual team, and have already secured interest from Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb. In addition to news and scripted content, users will have the ability to submit their own content.
The app is available for download in the Apple Store and Google Play. All content is available in English, Hindu, and Punjabi languages.
