Sole Affordable Housing Organization Honored for the Sixth Time
NEW YORK, June 5, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- NHPF has been awarded three Telly Awards for the organization's first animated video, "Affordable Housing: Not an Illusion," which encourages public and private support for critically needed affordable housing in the U.S.
The video was honored with the following Telly Awards: A Silver Telly in the Social Issues category, a Bronze award in the Short Form Animation category and a second Bronze award in the Social Responsibility category. To create the video, NHPF collaborated with Epipheo, a studio that uses animated explainer videos to spark epiphanies because they create clarity.
The Telly Awards honor groundbreaking video work "across all screens." NHPF also won Telly Awards for its 2021 video, "Unconventional Housing: Yes! In my Backyard" and 2018 video, "Delivering On Our Commitment." This year as in 2021 and 2018, NHPF's entries were the only ones from an affordable housing developer to be so honored.
"DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice) is in our DNA At NHPF," said Sr. Vice President, External Affairs, Thom Vaccaro, "Our videos make audiences think hard about the words 'affordable housing' and what they mean in a world filled with social injustice, racial inequality, and job insecurity." This video elevates the case for creating bold, creative partnerships to tackle the need for increased housing that people of low and middle income can afford.
"As thrilled as I am to hear that our work is being honored by this award, I'm even more pleased to know that so many people will get to learn about what NHPF is doing," said Lucas Cole, Epipheo Employee Owner, CEO, "It's incredibly gratifying when not only do you get to produce great work for your client, it's for a great cause as well."
