Barrett has been with TOPEC for 16 years in progressively increasing roles of responsibility, overseeing operations, client services, accreditation services, and communications. She was pivotal to TOPEC's receiving 'Accreditation with Commendation' by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), a significant achievement in the healthcare education industry. This designation is awarded to organizations that meet stringent accreditation criteria, and Barrett lead the accreditation process and leads the operational frameworks of TOPEC.
