As the loud, bombastic revelry of an audience all too desperate to lose themselves within the theatre's ample amusements and carnal delights rings out, a lone audience member is lost in far away thoughts. Suddenly, a warm spotlight falls upon their face as a previously unnoticed woman turns and removes her heavy veil. The stark features over-exaggerated by makeup applied to be seen from the back row somehow manage to make this woman's eyes burrow deep within one's very soul. The crowd quiets. Our hero can now hear their own heavy breathing and begins to fear that everyone else can as well. A lilting but commanding voice that is as much a warning as a possible siren's call to a new way of life simply asks, "Why have you come here?"

The Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol was a Paris playhouse formed in the turn of the century that ran for nearly 70 years and featured nearly all of society's taboos. These artisans proudly put a spotlight on the people and subject matter that the rest of polite society was too afraid to talk about let alone embrace.
At Theatre Macabre hilarious, shocking and electrifying vignettes await at every turn but so do the purveyors of these dark arts and they may, or may not, have your best interest in mind. Ever increasingly, the line between what is real and what is simply unsettling entertainment will become more and more divided as the night wears on. The audience will find themselves dragged away from and into the show itself as the narrative transforms to make them the lead of their very own terrifying and intoxicating stories.

- Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
21 and up. There will be alcohol at the event and is included in the ticket price. You must be 21 and over to attend.
- Where is the location of the event?
The event in located in Los Angeles. The actual address will be sent 48 hours before your scheduled ticket time.
- What is the runtime?
Prepared to be with us 90 - 120 minutes.
- What Trigger warnings should I know before purchasing a ticket?
We strongly DO NOT recommend this experience for anyone with pre-existing injuries, heart conditions, pregnant woman, epileptics, etc. The evening features adult themes and situations and is not intended for anyone easily offended by social taboos.

When attending a night at the Theatre. One should dress as seriously as she or he wishes to be taken.
- Transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We highly recommend using a ride share service as street parking is limited.

Guests are encouraged to let go of all that binds them... No cell phones, hand bags, purses, backpacks or priggish social mores will be allowed.
