Three new Pond Lehocky attorneys pass PA Bar Exam
Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano proudly congratulates its three newest associate attorneys for passing the Pennsylvania bar exam. Kathryn Luchansky, Jason Kaner and Xavier Perez have all accepted positions with the firm.
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano proudly congratulates its three newest associate attorneys for passing the Pennsylvania bar exam. Kathryn Luchansky, Jason Kaner and Xavier Perez have all accepted positions with the firm.
Both Ms. Luchansky and Mr. Kaner will be handling workers' compensation and employment law matters. Meanwhile, Mr. Perez will be working with the firm's Social Security disability department.
Ms. Luchansky earned her law degree from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, with a concentration in litigation and dispute resolution. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth T. Hey, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Previously, she interned at a Connecticut law firm and clerked for the Honorable Thomas P. Rogers of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas.
She graduated cum laude from Ohio State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in criminology. She was an All-American swimmer for the Division I program and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors all four years.
Mr. Kaner graduated from the joint J.D./M.B.A. program at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and the Villanova University School of Business in 2019. He earned his bachelor's degree in history from Binghamton University in 2016.
Before joining Pond Lehocky, he worked for the National Football League, assisting in the representation of teams in arbitration proceedings regarding player injuries. He also supported the NFL Management Council on behalf of NFL clubs in matters involving labor & employment litigation, contract disputes and the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Mr. Perez is a veteran with Pond Lehocky, having joined the firm as an intern during the summer of 2018 and continuing in that role throughout his third year of law school. Since graduation, he has worked with the Social Security department as a brief writer.
He earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2019. While there, he served on the Budget and Treasury Committee of the Student Bar Association and as the treasurer of the Federalist Society. He received his bachelor's degree in film and media arts from Temple University in 2015.
He previously interned for a summer with the New York Police Department Community Affairs Bureau, where he filmed and edited short videos and public service announcements.
