AUSTIN, Texas, April 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tiff's Treats, the Austin-based company that created the warm cookie delivery concept, announced today its first Lubbock, Texas, store is open at 411 University Avenue #200. The store's grand opening celebration is this Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., benefiting Sondra's Song, a Lubbock organization dedicated to helping youth in foster care transition smoothly to independent living.
As of today, the new store is open during regular business hours of 9 a.m. – midnight Monday – Friday and 10 a.m. – midnight Saturday and Sunday with its full menu of classic warm cookies and fudgy brownies available for delivery or pickup.
At the grand opening celebration Saturday, Tiff's Treats will give the first 40 people in line at 9 a.m. a $100 Tiff's Treats gift card. All others in line at 9 a.m. will receive a $10 gift card (must be 18 or older). A special perk for grand opening attendees, cookies will be priced at $5 a dozen and customers can purchase as many as six one-dozen boxes filled with one of Tiff's Treats' most popular cookie flavors: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin. Everyone who attends will have a chance to win gift cards from local restaurants and shops inserted into random boxes of cookies, and be entered in a drawing for free cookies for a year.
Guests attending the grand opening are encouraged to arrive early and bring new or unused hygiene or every-day home items that would help someone who is just starting out on their own. Tiff's Treats will give a $5 gift card to everyone who donates. All proceeds from the day, up to $5,000, will go to Sondra's Song to pay for housing needs such as rent, utilities, groceries and more for six young adults transitioning out of foster care.
"As we've started to expand nationally, we're thrilled to open our doors in a new area of our home state of Texas and proud to support Sondra's Song at our kickoff celebration Saturday," said Tiffany Chen, Tiff's Treats co-founder.
Tiff's Treats now has 39 stores in Texas; 7 in Atlanta, Georgia; and 3 in Nashville, Tenn. Earlier this year the company announced its move to North Carolina with a Charlotte store opening in summer 2019.
Tiff's Treats stores are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the grand opening.
