Texas Air Shuttle Scheduled For Takeoff As Early As February 2015
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- Texas Air Shuttle, an innovative transportation alternative to traditional air and car travel, announced today it is opening its wait list to prospective members and will be launching as early as February of 2015, pending Federal Aviation Administration/Department of Transportation approval. The all-you-can-fly air travel membership boasts headquarters at Conroe’s Lone Star Executive Airport, as well as Meacham Airport in Fort Worth.
“The Houston to Dallas/Fort Worth flight is the number one most traveled air route in the country,” said Steve Geldmacher, CEO of Texas Air Shuttle. “Businessmen and women are frustrated with traditional commercial travel, which includes invasive airport screenings, nickel-and-dime fees, overbooked flights, cancellations – you name it. All of these things cost individuals thousands of dollars every year in lost productivity and time. Our method completely eliminates the stresses related to commercial flying. Members can fly as often as they want for one monthly fee and are treated like VIPs in the process.”
Texas Air Shuttle owns, operates and maintains a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft. All aircraft have twin engines and per Texas Air Shuttle policy, will fly with two pilots for added safety – essential for many Fortune 500 companies. The company also plans to add jets to its fleet of King Air 200s to expand its route network.
Memberships range in price from $899 - $4,900 per month depending on the type of membership selected. Texas Air Shuttle will maintain regularly scheduled air travel routes throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Additional routes will be added as demand grows.
“Already, we’ve seen tremendous interest in Texas Air Shuttle memberships throughout the business community, including entrepreneurs, executives and companies with more than one location. Their time is valuable and driving a few times a week or traveling by commercial airline simply doesn’t cut it,” said Ken Haney, founder and chairman of Texas Air Shuttle. “Our goal is to provide a superior travel option for these super commuters and in the process, provide them more time to handle their business.”
“Texas Air Shuttle is a veteran-owned company and the company boasts decades of aviation experience. We want our members to understand that this is an organization built on excellence; by the services we provide and the people we employ,” said Haney.
The company already has agreements established with jet fuel providers Sun Coast Resources and World Fuel Services and partnerships with rental car and hotel chains so that its members can enjoy benefits immediately.
“Our entire mindset for Texas Air Shuttle is to create business travel the way it was meant to be,” said Geldmacher. “We understand the stresses of commuter and business travel, and we know that we’ve created the perfect air travel program for our members. Book a flight, valet your car, check in and hop on your flight. It’s that simple.”
