SAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The USA Futures Program aims to identify and develop top athletes in every region of the US. Since it was established in 1990, the program has been training field hockey players to compete at a high level during the off-season. Athletes accepted into the program will train at a Futures Program site in their region for seven sessions under the instruction of current colleges coaches from all division levels.
The program also acts as an Olympic Development Pipeline into the United States National Team with players participating in drill work developed by Olympic Coaches.
"Having our camps sanctioned as a USA Field Hockey Partner Camps shows that we are committed to helping athlete improve," says Siera Love National Manager at US Sports Camps. "We are giving players from across the country the opportunity to showcase themselves at camp and potentially be selected into the USA Futures Program."
Field Hockey players have the option to choose from day or overnight field hockey camps across the US. Boys and girls will train with current collegiate, club, or varsity field hockey coaches, and engage in drills, positional work, and live game play.
