VCG was the Water Stop Sponsor and hydrated hundreds of runners throughout Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Broward and Miami- Dade counties throughout their choice of six races, including a 5K, 10K Run, Pet Run/Walk, Kid's Dash, Hometown Hero Police and Firefighter 5K.

According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1 in 4 women (24.3%) and 1 in 7 men (13.8%) aged 18 and older in the United States have been the victim of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. 30 to 60% of perpetrators of intimate partner violence also abuse children in the household.
AVDA's mission is to promote violence-free relationships by offering alternative choices to end the cycle of domestic abuse and violence. AVDA provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency and transitional housing, advocacy, counseling and support to survivors of domestic violence. AVDA helps survivors transition out of violent relationships so they can live free of fear. AVDA's philosophy is prevention through education, and advocacy and intervention is the ultimate goal. AVDA offers nonresidential services to adult and child survivors of domestic violence. These services assist survivors with accessing relocation assistance through the Victims of Crime Act, legal advocacy, and provides group domestic violence education for participants. AVDA's Legal Advocacy program assists clients in safely participating in the legal system.
