Visit Pensacola Announces New United Airlines Non-Stop Flight Between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS)
Non-stop flight from New York City area amplifies Pensacola as a popular travel destination.
PENSACOLA, Fla., June 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Visit Pensacola is excited to announce a new non-stop flight between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) on United Airlines beginning today, June 6, 2019. Whether it's for business or pleasure, the new seasonal non-stop flight is anticipated to further establish Pensacola as a sought-after travel destination featuring rich history, a vibrant arts scene and 18 miles of sugar-white sand and emerald green waters along the Florida Gulf Coast.

The Pensacola Bay Area had more than 2.3 million travelers visit last year, generating nearly $840 million for the community's economy. The new United Airlines flight offers a new and convenient travel option for first-time and repeat visitors to Pensacola.
"United Airlines has made a significant investment in Pensacola by adding this non-stop flight option from the New York City area," said Visit Pensacola President Steve Hayes. "Pensacola's reputation has grown exponentially in recent years as a travel destination for not only sun and sand, but for meetings and group travel as well. Having this new option to get to Pensacola from the Big Apple in less than three hours will further establish our city as a significant destination for leisure and business travel."
United Airlines will operate two flights daily June 6 through September 8: one departs Newark at 1:00 pm (EST) and arrives in Pensacola at 2:30 pm (CST); the second departs Pensacola at 3:25 pm (CST) and arrives in Newark at 7:00 pm (EST).
