The New Hampshire property is the first location for Guesthouse, located next to newly relaunched Riverhouse, and marks Weekender's foray into a more private, spacious, and design-forward vacation experience
PETERBOROUGH, N.H., March 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Weekender Hotels today announced the launch of Guesthouse, a new hospitality concept in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The property, which is a stone's throw away from Riverhouse by Weekender on the Contoocook River, boasts two private home suites available to rent for short-term stays, long-term stays or anyone looking for a comfortable, more private stay rather than a hotel experience.
The two Guesthouse home suites, which can be booked together or separately, sleep four and six, respectively. The residences offer more design-forward spaces that will serve as the perfect backdrop for all the memories visitors can make at the New Hampshire property.
Weekender Hotels founder Keir Weimer said, "People want to be comfortable when they travel. We noticed a demand for stays that resembled more of a home rental—with a full kitchen, more space, and multiple bedrooms. While we feel Weekender has dialed-in the boutique hotel approach with our innovative smart hotels in great destinations near endless adventures, we're thrilled to launch this new brand that will allow guests an even more curated and private experience. These accommodations by Guesthouse are perfect for larger groups, including big families, reunions, celebrations and anyone looking for a more private and bespoke stay."
Those familiar with Weekender's approach to hospitality—which includes luxurious in-room appointments such as Kassatex linens in every room, state-of-the-art "smart" technology, spa-quality toiletries from Beekman 1802, cloud-like beds and proximity to endless outdoor activities and recreational opportunities in the surrounding region—can rest assured that the Weekender promise of luxury and adventure at an affordable price will hold true for Guesthouse properties as well.
The Weekender hotel brand portfolio currently includes Great Pines resort in Old Forge, New York, the original property acquired by Weimer in 2015; Placid Bay Hotel in Lake Placid, New York; Town House Lodge, the second hotel in Lake Placid, New York; Alpine Lodge in North Creek, New York; Riverhouse in Peterborough, New Hampshire; Shaheen's Adirondack Inn in Tupper Lake, New York; and a 500-acre land development project in Lake George, New York for outdoor enthusiasts. Weekender will continue its thoughtful expansion with three additional properties throughout New England and Upstate New York in the coming months and continues to look to new markets in New England, as well as other regions of the country, to expand the Weekender and Guesthouse brands.
