IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- XCentium, an award-winning digital consultancy and a leader in the digital eCommerce industry, announced today that they have created and launched an RMA/Returns Management Plugin for Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C, enabling businesses to support returns on sites built on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) framework.
XCentium's new Returns plugin closes an important customer experience gap that is not offered out of the box on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C platform. Merchants are now able to offer a seamless return experience initiated right from the Order History page. Customers can select the items to return and provide reasons either from a configurable list or enter free form text. Customers can then select a return shipping method, which is configurable in the business manager as well. When a return label is generated, the return label and order return information is stored and readily available for export into other systems. Finally, the Return Confirmation page allows the user to print a return label. The Return Confirmation page also can incorporate offers and promotions in order to engage the user with cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
In addition to providing a smooth end user experience, the plugin provides a flexible, seamless experience for Merchants as well. Return rules are configurable in the Business Manager. Custom attributes on a product determine product eligibility for return and order date must be within a specific date range for it to be return eligible as well.
