Zetron Celebrates 40 Years Serving Mission Critical Communications Customers Around the Globe
The company's solutions are at the heart of communications between command and control centers and field operations and personnel in public safety, transportation, utilities and other mission critical environments on all seven continents
REDMOND, Wash., Nov. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Zetron, a global leader in integrated mission critical communications technology, today announced the company's milestone 40th anniversary of providing communications solutions to customers in public safety, transportation, utilities, and other markets. Zetron was founded in November of 1980, by Milt Zeutschel and John Reece as a small regional paging business. The company has since become a recognized leader in quality and interoperability for mission critical communications systems and services, maintaining a worldwide customer base and a comprehensive portfolio of innovative solutions used to serve hundreds of millions of people.
Over four decades, Zetron has led innovation in various industries with a number of firsts, including launching paging products for volunteer fire departments in 1981; bringing the first user programmable microprocessor-based radio dispatch console to market in 1987; the first public safety company to manufacture both radio dispatch and 9-1-1 call taking solutions in 1996; and being the first vendor to support the P25 CSSI in 2007.
"Zetron was founded in 1980 as a small business committed to providing high quality solutions and extraordinary customer service," said Brent Dippie, President and CEO of Zetron. "After 40 years our most significant accomplishment and sincere privilege has been relentlessly serving and earning the enduring trust of customer organizations where coordinated communications are the heartbeat of critical operations and services."
A 31 year veteran of Zetron, Mr. Dippie held numerous positions with the company prior to his current leadership role. He attributes his tenure to consistently identifying and relating with the enduring corporate culture centered on a passion for supporting the critical services and personnel that serve us all.
"I believe our staying power is largely attributable to the importance we've always placed on establishing long term relationships with customers, partners and employees," Dippie added. "When fairness, respect and appreciation are foundational, longevity often follows. While we've obviously come a long way from our beginnings, we remain passionately grateful and humbled for the opportunity to work with the resilient, devoted and courageous people who so often selflessly put the safety and welfare of the communities and public they serve first."
