Hispanic Executive Partners with Hispanics in Philanthropy to Produce Special Edition on Hispanic Giving
Oakland, CA; Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 -- Hispanic Executive magazine is proud to partner with Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) to produce a special edition dedicated solely to highlighting Hispanic giving and leadership, including thirty HIPGivers whose portraits inspire the best practices in strategic giving and more. This inaugural issue will be distributed at HIP’s 30th anniversary event in San Francisco, CA on March 6, 2014. Attendees will include some of the nation’s top Latino donors, philanthropists and leaders.
"We are very excited to be partnering with Diana Campoamor and Hispanics in Philanthropy,” says Pedro A. Guerrero, President of Hispanic Executive. “Through this special collaboration, Hispanic Executive has produced a special edition that recognizes thirty of the many extraordinary individuals who are pillars in the philanthropic community. We are proud to lend our voice to convey the message of gratitude for what HIP President Diana Campoamor calls ‘our culture’s customs, compassion, collaboration and philanthropic contribution.’”
“We must reframe the way Latinos and Latin Americans are portrayed in media. We ARE philanthropists, givers of economic prosperity, intellectual and cultural capital, solid family values, and much more,” says Diana Campoamor, President of HIP. “Hispanic Executive is helping our community and our leaders to redefine our portrayals in powerful and positive ways.”
