2014 Georgia Automation EXPO “You Have A Choice”
Duluth, Georgia (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) has partnered with SherTek Inc. to bring in some of the top names in automation to Gwinnett County.
“New jobs are coming to Georgia through manufacturing. It is vital that companies automate repetitive tasks to eliminate wasting human capital,” said Jason Moss, President of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. “Factory and machine automation is a simple solution that allows American companies to compete with low skilled low wage foreign competition. The goal for automation is not to replace jobs but to create better paying, higher skilled positions.”
The Georgia Automation Expo is a special event designed to highlight the latest in factory and machine automation. The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) has partnered with SherTek Inc. to bring in some of the top names in automation to Gwinnett County. Factory representatives will be sharing ideas on how to best utilize technology to lower cost and improve efficiency. Each company will have a couple minutes to provide a brief introduction of their latest products during the 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. “Lunch and Learn.” Attendees are then encouraged to visit the displays and ask specific questions during the general networking / expo from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
