2014 Harleys for Heroes Campaign
Palm Harbor, Florida (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Healing Heroes Network has kicked off its 4th year of the highly successful "Harleys for Heroes" sweepstakes, where participants all over the country may donate for chances to win two Harley-Davidson® motorcycles (a 2014 Soft Tail® Slim and a 2014 Street Glide®), as well as a year's worth of gas.
Healing Heroes Network is a 501(c)3 charity organization based out of Palm Harbor, FL. Healing Heroes Network provides financial assistance for treatment and therapy services to military personnel who were injured in the line of duty while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan since September 11, 2001. The Harleys for Heroes Sweepstakes is a creative way to spread awareness for Healing Heroes Network's mission to "Heal America's Troops, One Hero at a Time" and to get people excited about donating!
"After learning what this non-profit does to support military families and what a good cause the sweepstakes was for, there was no question that I was going to donate." said Frank A. of New York, one of the 2013 winners. "I say donate because no one really expects to win things like this! I donated because of what the cause is for, and helping military families is way up there at the top of the list!"
The money raised through the "Harleys for Heroes" Sweepstakes will be used to help Healing Heroes Network accomplish its mission of assisting brave injured warriors in the healing process, and returning to the quality of life they have earned and deserve.
"It's inspiring how many people donate for the opportunity to give back to our wounded veterans," said Executive Director of Healing Heroes Network, Stacey Spiegel. "While it doesn't hurt that they're also entering to win these beautiful Harley's, a lot are really doing it for the troops."
The "Harleys for Heroes" sweepstakes starts June 24, 2014, and ends February 24, 2015. To donate for the chance to win two Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and a year of gas, people can go to http://www.HarleysForHeroes.com. The drawing will be conducted on or around March 2, 2015. The proceeds of the Harleys For Heroes Sweepstakes will go directly to the Healing Heroes Network to help fund their mission of healing injured warriors. What a great feeling to know that you can make a difference in a heroes life, by entering for your own chance to win two Harleys!
Healing Heroes Network provides financial assistance for quality care to military personnel injured in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/01. Through communication, education, and community outreach, Healing Heroes Network strives to bring awareness of the often untreated injuries sustained in war and the desperate need for our services.
Since its establishment in 2008, Healing Heroes Network has raised funds to serve, support, and increase awareness, all aimed at healing the injuries of America's heroes. The goal of Healing Heroes Network is to help our injured heroes get back to more productive, healthy lives that they enjoyed before being deployed. Healing Heroes Network is a testament to the warmth, gratitude, and devotion Americans hold for our Heroes who do so much for all of us every day.
After the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and the subsequent war on terror, thousands of members of our armed forces have been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. Often these men and women are unable to receive the treatments that would facilitate their return to a productive civilian life. While the Department of Veteran Affairs provides treatment to these troops, the scope of covered services is limited, sometimes unavailable, and often delayed.
Healing Heroes Network was founded in 2008 by Dr. Allan Spiegel and his wife Stacey in order to fill these gaps. Healing Heroes Network, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was formed with a network of caring providers throughout the United States to facilitate the treatment process. Healing Heroes Network provides financial assistance for those desperately needed therapies and services.
