2014 North American Passive House Conference Announced for September
Portland, Maine (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- The North American Passive House Network (NAPHN) is pleased to announce a two-day conference focused on the international Passive House standard. The 2014 North American Passive House Conference (NAPH14) will feature Passive House projects, both small and large, from across the continent and around the world. From homes, schools, office buildings, and city districts, the conference will provide an in-depth look at what Passive House is achieving today. Taking place in Portland, Maine, this conference is being presented by NAPHN with particular cooperation and support from member organization passivhausMAINE.
A keynote address will be made by founder and director of the Passive House Institute, Dr. Wolfgang Feist. NAPH14 will also feature a manufacturer and service provider expo, introducing attendees to the full range of products and services directed at Passive House designers, builders, and owners.
Workshops seek to appeal to a wide audience of Passive House enthusiasts. Courses are being shaped to fit both introductory learners and the most advanced, specialized Certified Passive House Consultants. NAPHN organizers will be accepting presentation proposals regarding topics technically-oriented, design-oriented, domestic or commercial, big or small, cold or hot-humid.
