2014 Reinhart Traditions Event Raises Over $65,000 for Charities
Rosemont, IL (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- Earlier this month at The Greenbrier® Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Reinhart Foodservice, L.L.C.® (Reinhart) and its supplier partners raised over $65,000 in charitable donations with multiple raffles prizes, an online auction, and a live auction during Reinhart’s Traditions Sales and Merchandising Conference Product Showcase reception. The proceeds will benefit the Light Foundation (http://www.lightfoundation.org) and Feeding America® (http://www.feedingamerica.org).
With the help of celebrity guests Matt Light (Light Foundation; Former NFL Player, New England Patriots®) and Bubba Watson (2012 and 2014 PGA® Masters Tournament Champion), as well as Reinhart and supplier donors, the event prizes ranged from sports memorabilia to event tickets to travel vouchers to state-of-the-art electronics.
"The support of Reinhart, and both its supplier partners and employees have been truly amazing," said Light, who helped facilitate the live auction. "They really stepped up to help the Light Foundation, and their generous donations will help fund programs and initiatives for at-risk kids who really need the help. I couldn't be more grateful for their generosity," he added.
2014’s numbers exceeded last year’s total charitable donations, which was $42,000. Prize quantity increased by 20%, and Traditions attendance increased as well, resulting in more participants.
