4th Australian HR Technology Report Released
Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) August 20, 2014 -- The annual Australian HR Technology Report, now in its fourth year has been released. Commissioned by Navigo Research, a research and advisory team operating under the HR Solutions provider Navigo, the report is based on a survey of over 288 organisations representing almost 690,000 employees.
Respondents provided information on HR software used, technology adoption across functional areas, satisfaction rates, age of systems, expenditure and future trends.
Founder of Navigo Research and co-author of the report Peter Forbes said, "The report provides a great insight into the attitudes and landscape of the Australian HR Software industry. Organisations responded that they are unhappy with their old legacy HR/Payroll Systems. Over 50% of HR Payroll systems are over 7 years old and are on-premise. Cloud systems still have a low adoption but there is a desire for them. Spending outlook for HR technologies remains strong. We still find the number one motivator for investment is improved operational efficiency while cost and budget is the main roadblock."
The survey, conducted between February to March 2014, is for organisations of more then 100 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
The survey results are divided into two reports - HR Systems Adoption Report and HR Systems Management Report. We look at system adoption rates across the different HR Functional areas, how systems are deployed and the expected expenditure in the next 12 months. We also delve into the various aspects associated with the management of HR systems. Asking what are the major roadblocks and motivators for investing into HR Technology and researching into SaaS deployment, usability and data management.
