Awario Social Media Tool Gets Enhanced With New Features

The web-based application finds posts from the web and social media based on the keywords users set in real time. Recently the application added new features to improve user experience.

The first update helps users to get more relevant mentions from Facebook. Facebook's recent API changes hinder the comprehensive search of the platform for any third-party tool. The new feature from Awario, called the Whitelist, allows users to prioritize certain Facebook pages to get mentions from them. After adding the name of a Facebook page to the Whitelist, Awario will primarily monitor these pages looking for users’ keywords. The list doesn’t have any limitations on the number of pages that can be added. However, in compliance with Facebook API, Awario is only able to monitor Public Business Pages.
Another update aims to bring more detailed reports to Awario users. Previously, Awario users could only see the mentions filtered in accordance with the date, sentiment, source and location displayed in a user’s feed. However, the exported data in a form of a CSV report contained all the mentions without taking filter settings into account. But the new update enables users to use a number of filters and then export only the mentions that match the filters.
