Battison Honda Extends Sympathies to Courtney Battison in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Courtney Battison mourns the loss of her beloved stallion, Hot N Blazing
OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Battison Honda extends its sympathies to Courtney Battison in Oklahoma City as she mourns the loss of her beloved stallion, Hot N Blazing. Known as Blaze, he was an American Quarter Horse Association, or AQHA, stallion that had been with Courtney for 18 years. Prior to his breeding sire years Blaze earned various titles, including AQHA World Champion in Junior Hunter Under Saddle and an AQHA Reserve World Champion in Junior Western Riding, though his career certainly didn't end there. Blaze was a National Snaffle Bit Association Leading Sire. His offspring includes several notable names, including The Heat Seeker, Look N Hott, and Like A Boss.
Blaze was trained by Patty and Butch Campbell during his partnership with Courtney. He lived to be 22 years old and spent 18 of those years well-cared for by Courtney Battison. Blaze enjoyed a plentiful life not only as a successful sire but also as a great companion. Blaze also had a fun-loving and quirky personality that endeared him to many people. Fond memories include bareback rides in his pasture, photo shoots, carrots and homemade cookies, all of which showed how loved he was under Courtney's care.
While Hot N Blazing is no longer here, his legacy will live on in his many foals, and he will certainly not be forgotten. Battison Honda wishes Courtney Battison the best during these difficult times.
