Benjamin Haglund, Partner with Day Pitney, Elected Chair of Lex Mundi
HOUSTON (PRWEB) May 08, 2019 -- Benjamin Haglund was elected Chair of Lex Mundi’s Board of Directors during the 2019 Lex Mundi Leadership Summit and Annual Conference in London. Lex Mundi is the world’s leading network of independent law firms with 160 member firms and more than 21,000 lawyers worldwide.
Mr. Haglund, a partner with Day Pitney LLP (USA, New Jersey), has served on Lex Mundi’s Board of Directors since 2015.

(Israel) to the position of Chair-Elect, Angie Castille of Faegre Baker Daniels (USA, Indiana and Minnesota) to the position of Secretary, and James (Jamie) Baker IV of Baker Botts LLP (USA, Texas) to the position of Treasurer.
Ricardo Arango of Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega (Panama) and Michiel Pannekoek of Houthoff (the Netherlands) will serve on the Lex Mundi Executive Committee along with Mr. Haglund, Ms. Liberman, Ms. Castille, Mr. Baker, Tiziana Sucharitkul of Tilleke & Gibbins (Thailand), the out-going Chair, and Helena Samaha, Lex Mundi’s newly appointed President.
At the same Annual Meeting, the membership elected four new directors to the Lex Mundi Board of Directors: Jennifer DelMonico of Murtha Cullina LLP (USA, Connecticut), Luca Andrea Frignani of Chiomenti (Italy), Thomas Miller of Michael, Best & Friedrich LLP (USA, Wisconsin), and Carlos Velazquez de Leon of Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C. (Mexico). They will serve four-year terms.
