Castle Dental® Gives Smiles to Communities in Houston, TX
In Partnership with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation, Castle Dental® Provides Free Dental Services to 55 Underserved Patients
HOUSTON, June 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Castle Dental® partnered with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation to open its Houston, TX office on Kirby Drive on June 22nd to provide free dental services for underinsured, low-income individuals.
Volunteers from Castle Dental offices across Houston spent this past Saturday helping others feel confident in their smile! Four dentists and their dedicated support staff hosted the Houston Day of Giving, where underinsured patients were able to benefit from over $30,000 in donated dentistry. Individuals were informed about the event through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations like The Women's Home, a transitional housing service; Communities in Schools, a program that mentors at-risk students; and SEARCH Homeless Services.
The Houston Team cared for 55 individuals and provided services such as exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and more. But more importantly, they created a warm and upbeat atmosphere designed to make the patients feel at home. "The dental care and customer service I received was beyond great," explained patient Hezekiah B. "You guys are amazing and made me and my family feel comfortable." In agreement, Dominique M. replied, "You guys made my experience so easy. I usually hate the dentist, but I loved it here!"
