CloudLinux Hires Jim Jackson as President and Chief Revenue Officer
PALO ALTO, Calif. (PRWEB) September 18, 2018 -- CloudLinux, the leading provider of security solutions for web hosting and enterprise markets, announced today that Jim Jackson has joined CloudLinux as President and Chief Revenue Officer. Jackson will report to CloudLinux CEO Igor Seletskiy.
Jackson brings to CloudLinux over 30 years of experience in software and services development, marketing, sales, and business operations in sectors including security, disaster recovery and data protection, big data and business intelligence, telecommunications, and mission-critical systems. In his new role, Jackson will provide executive leadership for all go-to-market activities, including sales, business development, marketing, and customer success on a worldwide basis.

Most recently, Jackson was Chief Operating Officer for Virtuozzo, a Parallels company. In the preceding years, he had successful leadership experiences at Symantec, VERITAS Software, AT&T, ARES Corp, Verizon, Teradata, and Hughes Aircraft. Jackson also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cryptsonic, an early stage DRM company. Jackson received his degrees in software engineering and business management with honors from Purdue University.
