Community Health Charities Announces Shelley Hayes as New Chief Development Officer
Nonprofit leader Hayes promoted from within to take on the organization's fundraising
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Community Health Charities is pleased to announce the promotion of Shelley Hayes to Chief Development Officer, effective January 24, 2019.
Shelley joined Community Health Charities in June 2014 having served as the Director of Marketing and Member Services for both Neighbor to Nation and Christian Service Charities federations. During her tenure as Vice President of Customer Service and then Vice President of Development at Community Health Charities, Shelley built efficient teams and processes, strengthened relationships with nonprofit partners, and managed public and private sector clients worth $15 million annually.

As Chief Development Officer, Hayes is responsible for leading the organization's fundraising, cultivating and maintaining relationships with businesses of all sizes as well as public sector and government accounts across the country, and structuring and leading a high-performing team.

Hayes received a BA in Business and Public Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University and holds a certificate of Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University.
