Conway Named Chief Operating Officer of ResearchFirst, Inc.
ResearchFirst, Inc.'s CEO, Ellis D. Hill, announced today that Charlie Conway joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.
BILOXI, Miss., May 10, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ResearchFirst, Inc.'s CEO, Ellis D. Hill, announced today that Charlie Conway joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Conway brings over 35 years of leadership experience with companies serving Wireless, Wireline and Pay TV providers. He has led integration planning for multiple merger, acquisition, and spin-off transactions. More recently, he was Assistant Vice President of Sales – Internet Service Provider and Multifamily markets for DIRECTV. He has also led North American and Caribbean sales teams at Acision and Comverse Technologies. He has led cross-functional teams for international clients launching new products and services. He has expanded product portfolios to new client verticals, and partnered closely with his clients to provide training, market research, and customer acquisition programs which have helped drive their success. He began his career with Bell Atlantic and held positions in Strategic Sourcing, New Product Development and Corporate Advertising & Brand Management.
Originally from New Jersey, Charlie now resides in Northern Virginia. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Rutgers University, a master's degree in business administration from Montclair State University, and a master's degree in political management - Lobbying and Issues Management from The George Washington University. Charlie volunteers for causes that support youth, education, and medical research, and has served on executive committees and boards of directors for multiple business associations. Charlie and his wife, Angie, have one daughter, Sydney, who graduated in 2020 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and now works as a Human Resources professional.
