As Hurricane Florence heads towards the east coast, Freedom House Church is preparing to respond to the needs of the communities that will be impacted. CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As Hurricane Florence heads towards the east coast, Freedom House Church is preparing to respond to the needs of the communities that will be impacted. Freedom House is setting up collection points for supplies at its 3 campus locations and other local businesses throughout the city of Charlotte. Supplies will be sent to areas affected by Hurricane Florence. Freedom House will also be assessing the damage of Florence and will be coordinating with organizations and teams in order to provide on-site relief.
The collection of supplies will begin Monday, September 18th at all Freedom House Church campuses and local businesses indicated online. This is an opportunity for local businesses to partner together and support the hurricane relief efforts through donations, sponsorships and volunteering to be a collection location. Freedom House has previously responded to the needs of communities across the U.S in the wake of natural disasters. They were among others on the frontline assisting with relief efforts in Houston and Florida last year. Their aim is to always be present when needed and provide relief in as many ways as possible.
