Getting Hired to Host Exclusive Online Career Fair for Professionals with Disabilities
HANOVER, Md. (PRWEB) April 08, 2019 -- Getting Hired, an Allegis Group company, is hosting an online career fair for job seekers with disabilities on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST.
More than 40 Getting Hired inclusive employer partners, including Accenture, CVS Health, Gilead Sciences, Merck, Kellogg Company and Waste Management are participating in the event. The event gives job seekers the opportunity to talk directly with recruiters in real-time via a text-based chat system.
Recruiters from participating employers will share information on job opportunities and insights on their company’s culture. Job seekers will have up to 10 minutes to chat with each prospective employer; each employer will have at least three recruiters available. Job seekers are encouraged to bring updated copies of their resumes.
Getting Hired last held an online career fair in October 2018. The event included more than 20 employers and attracted over 600 job seekers, with more than 650 conversations between candidates and recruiters.
“Getting Hired is committed to creating job opportunities for individuals and veterans with disabilities. Our online career fairs help connect our inclusive employers directly to the professional job seekers within our community. We look forward to another successful event in May,” said Jill Stutzman-Deaner, Director of Getting Hired.
