BOSTON, Jan. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Victoria Reggie "Vicki" Kennedy, senior counsel in Greenberg Traurig's Corporate Practice in Boston, will join Cindy McCain in an intimate presentation at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School (IOP) on Friday, Jan. 31.
Kennedy, who serves as board president and co-founder of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, and McCain, who chairs the board of trustees of the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University, will share their insights on public service and legacy. Former Lt. Gov. of Massachusetts Kerry Healey, president of the Center for Advancing the American Dream at the Milken Institute, will moderate the conversation.
Kennedy has served at the national level in key strategic and political roles on issues ranging from health, education, economic opportunity and involvement in the political process. As a leading voice on the empowerment of women and girls in society, she remains an advocate for expanded medical research and access to health care for all Americans. She played an active role in the passage of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 and stood at President Obama's side at the signing of the bill into law.
