Denver-based Real Estate Company Hires Several Leadership Positions Amid Successful Expansion
DENVER, Feb. 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HIGHSIDE Companies, a Colorado-based real estate company, has recently added a number of new hires including, Brent Gray as Vice President - Controller, Patrick Tyson as Vice President - Investments and Matt Shannon as Vice President - Development. HIGHSIDE consists of several fully integrated real estate verticals focused specifically on: Real Estate Investment, Development, and Project Management. The Denver-based company continues to add new clients and locations to their portfolio, creating a need to expand their team.

Brent Gray has been hired as the Vice President - Controller and will oversee accounting best practices, workflows and processes in order to help the company continue to rapidly scale. Gray's past experience includes Joint Venture Controller for Atlas Real Estate where he managed all aspects of accounting and finance and Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Northstar Commercial Partners where he managed more than $1 billion in assets under management across multiple product types.
Patrick Tyson joined HIGHSIDE as Vice President - Investments where he will have oversight of day-to-day real estate deal execution and ownership of each project's P&L, as well as asset management. Prior to joining HIGHSIDE, Tyson was a Senior Associate for Ascentris, a real estate private equity firm based in Denver, Colo., where he was responsible for the acquisition, development and asset management of multifamily and office properties across the country.
Matt Shannon has also joined the team as Vice President - Development and he will be responsible for the management of ground-up new development including project feasibility, due diligence, entitlements, budgeting, scheduling, design and construction team coordination. Prior to joining HIGHSIDE, Shannon was a Construction and Development Executive at Westfield Company, where he held similar responsibilities covering full project lifecycles across multiple asset classes.
