The new release gives customers the ability to enhance automation by better customizing their workflows. It also helps Jira Cloud users get more insights on historical information of what happened to each issue/task.

These new features are now available in Jira Misc Workflow Extensions for Jira Cloud:

  • Conditions and Validators for Jira Cloud. Several point-and-click, configurable workflow extensions are now available to Jira administrators to help automate and govern actions triggered by the user.
  • Build-your-own (scripted) Condition and Validator. Allows Jira administrators to extend workflows even further using Jira expressions scripting. Offers easy yet powerful editor and its inline, interactive help system.
  • Issue Transitions history in the activity section. Enables an easy view of the history of status changes of an issue with authors and time-in-status data.
  • Also released new and updated post-functions, and more.
